As a mid-engined supercar, the Audi R8 feels relatively usable. Its rear-wheel drive enables it to handle most road surfaces effectively and there's plenty of room in its cabin for two adults.

The interior is stylishly minimalist with high-quality materials and convenient features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Additionally, its 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster serves double duty as the infotainment system and makes operation simple and user friendly.

Audi has long been known for producing some of the world's finest exotic sports cars. When the R8 first appeared on the scene in 2007, it proved revolutionary in that it combined cutting-edge engineering and technology with daily usability - qualities not often associated with exotic vehicles.

Phoenix Racing (piloted by Marc Basseng, Christopher Haase, Frank Stippler and Markus Winkelhock) won an astounding two-car finish at Le Mans 24 Hours race a few months later with this car in an outstanding 1-2 finish that established it as one of the highest performing exotic cars on the market. This success cemented their place among one of the finest exotic vehicles available today.

But things were about to change for the R8. Natural aspiration was being phased out, while fuel efficiency regulations necessitated Audi to redesign its engine; this involved lowering output and making the car less responsive; Audi then created a special limited edition called R8 GT that has since sold out entirely. Just 333 were produced - as you may imagine they all went quickly!
