The 2023 Acura Integra Is Designed For Driving Enthusiasts

experience.

The Integra is an engaging car designed for any adventure. Though not as agile as Veloster N or forthcoming Civic Type R, this front-wheel drive model still makes short work of daily driving tasks with its stellar steering and long gripping front tires that eventually give way.

Technology Package

The base Integra starts at approximately $30,000 and offers plenty of standard equipment, such as a power sunroof, digital instrument cluster, faux leather seats, and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen. 17-inch wheels with 215 series tires round out this package; for driving enthusiasts seeking something special the A-Spec version saves several thousand dollars off base price while unlocking six speed manual transmission - features many will welcome.

The Technology Package adds model-topping premium features. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow drivers to connect their smartphones via Bluetooth to the infotainment system, while a 10.1-inch head-up display projects key information onto the windshield. Wireless charging, larger 9.0-inch infotainment screen options and reversing cameras help drivers park in tight spaces more easily than ever. Furthermore, there are puddle lights, front/rear parking sensors as well as low speed emergency braking available as options on this Integra model.

AcuraWatch, an integrated driver assistance technology system, stands out as another noteworthy safety feature. The AcuraWatch suite comprises blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation and adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist; we found them to work well during our test drive; however the Civic Si's adaptive cruise control provided slightly more aggressive warnings of its own than AcuraWatch does. Furthermore, its head-up display showed vital information like speed and AcuraWatch alerts projected onto the road ahead.

A-Spec Integra models offer great looks and performance without going as far as Type S models. Their sportier appearance includes gloss black window surrounds, Shark Gray alloy wheels, and A-Spec front and rear fascia trim for a sportier feel. A striking combination of all-season performance tires 235/40R-18 from all-season performance tire manufacturer Michelin enhances cornering ability while LED fog lights illuminate the road when visibility is limited. Furthermore, an ELS Studio premium audio system is also included for entertainment. The Integra offers plenty of cargo space with its power liftback and 60/40 split fold-down rear seatbacks, along with its generous six year/70,000 mile powertrain warranty that far outstrips that offered by most competitors (four year/60,000 mile warranty).

Active Safety

Your Integra is equipped with AcuraWatch driver-assistive technology to help keep it on the road safely, providing constant information and warnings of road conditions. This suite features collision mitigation braking to mitigate frontal crash impacts; lane departure warning to assist you with staying within your lane; and road departure mitigation which gently steers it back onto its intended path if it begins drifting without warning.

Your driver and passenger are protected with advanced airbags featuring an innovative donut design to cradle their heads during an oblique collision, mitigating rotation and the potential for brain injury. Furthermore, a multi-view rear camera monitors your vehicle and its surroundings to alert you of approaching vehicles or obstructions in parking lots and streets.

Premium touches continue with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated faux-leather front seats and ambient interior lighting. A-Spec models offer sportier aesthetics with red seat inserts and an anodized shift knob with contrast stitching - not to mention ample storage space in a liftback cargo area!

A-Spec features IDS drive modes that tailor engine response, steering assist and suspension damping to suit any driving style. Comfort mode uses the EPS system for an easier experience while Sport+ allows you to fine-tune settings for an exceptional driving experience. In addition, an Individual mode can be created so that each ride is tailored specifically to its driver.

Honda's powerful 1.5L VTEC(r) Turbo engine delivers swift acceleration with a broad torque curve and early power delivery, propelling you through every drive's fastest sections. A helical limited-slip differential and lightweight flywheel improve handling while Rev-Match Control ensures precise downshifting.
