The Huayra was designed as the successor to Pagani Zonda and serves as an open-air automotive laboratory that celebrates performance, technology and sheer art - offering high levels of safety as a track-day car. The Huayra features a V12 engine from Mercedes that produces 720bhp and 737lb-ft of torque - an extremely potent package that isn't afraid to get its hands dirty, thanks to Pagani and AMG working together on developing a dual-clutch transmission box for this vehicle.

At the core of Huayra lies its carbon fiber and titanium chassis, weighing in at just over 2,970 pounds dry. Every component on this vehicle has been custom designed and built using lightweight yet strong materials, from its steering wheel forged from one block of aluminum all the way down to its components that comprise its body.

Pagani's design and engineering team has devised an exhaust system for the Huayra that unleashes all its incredible power without compromising engine efficiency or sound quality. Made out of Inconel 625/718 tubes one-third thinner than those found on road cars to maximize aerodynamic performance and increase airflow, Pagani's engineers designed an exhaust that unleashes all its incredible force without any loss in efficiency or sound quality.

The Zonda

Horacio Pagani designed his inaugural model, the Zonda, after taking inspiration from Juan Manuel Fangio's F1 racecars. Horacio imagined this car would be both stunningly beautiful and fast with unique features such as roofless design and high strength chassis construction; plus being first of its kind to use Mercedes V12 engine technology.

The Zonda was an immediate hit upon its launch and quickly established Pagani as a major exotic car maker. It quickly captured public imagination around the globe and proved itself as one of the fastest cars of its time, boasting an astonishing 0-60 time of 4 seconds flat and top speed of 186 MPH.

In 2005, the Zonda F was unveiled with more power and sleeker styling, along with carbon-ceramic brakes and other improvements including upgraded suspension with new kinematics and geometry kinematics and geometry for an upgraded suspension setup. As one of the most advanced exotic cars available at that time (predating even Huayra Coupe's debut in 2021), Zonda F quickly become an instant classic in its class.

Zondas were also popular choice for track days, and so when the Zonda R was introduced it came as no surprise. Based on the Zonda Cinque, but with massive front canards and dorsal fin to improve aerodynamics and larger rear spoiler to increase downforce; also featuring 49bhp extra power at 789bhp!

Clarkson named it as his Car of the Year 2010 episode and said it was "pure driving machine," saying it could go "as fast as you can without getting thrown off the road." Known for its beauty, Pagani will display their collection at Grand Central Terminal until November 8, inviting everyone to view them up close and personal. The Utopia

After twenty years of producing numerous models under their brand's ownership, Pagani is well-recognized as both its name and owner Horacio Pagani's passion for cars and design are well known. He began carving clay sculptures as early as 1987 while also designing racecars during that time.

Pagani first gained recognition as a designer while working on industrial projects during his youth in Argentina. By 20, however, he designed his first race car - one that caught Juan Manuel Fangio's eye and eventually led him to Modena, Italy where supercars thrived.

Pagani first gained experience working with carbon fiber for Lamborghini in the late '80s. Following this exposure and having gained invaluable expertise with exotic vehicles, in 1991 Pagani founded Pagani Composite Research as a team dedicated to carbon fiber development. However, due to Lamborghini focusing its military projects during the Gulf War he only really put this expertise to good use himself.

Pagani was an instant hit from its first Zonda's launch off its production line in 1999, and has remained so ever since. Although now relatively small in scale, their capabilities are immense: Pagani can perform design, engineering, prototyping and production work normally undertaken by top racing teams for limited-production cars destined to a select few customers.

Pagani's Utopia, their third model in their line-up, continues the Pagani tradition of marrying beauty with performance. While other hypercars may feature aerodynamic add-ons for added downforce or reduced drag, Utopia uses lines and shape to create an efficient shape which results in greater downforce with reduced drag while adding less additional weight compared to its competitors.

Utopia's interior is also an elegant work of art; no screens are used; all instruments are completely analog, with easy-to-read dials for an ageless feel that perfectly complements its sleek exterior design.

The P140

Horacio Pagani was trained at the Lamborghini factory and eventually rose to become head of their composite material department, taking part in numerous projects such as restyling the Countach Anniversary and P140 models, among many others. Starting work on his C8 Project concept supercar in 1988 he showed it to Juan Manuel Fangio who agreed that it should bear his name if built with Mercedes engines.

Project Hypercar took seven years to complete and was unveiled for sale in 1999. With its groundbreaking design and carbon fibre chassis and bodywork, this vehicle spawned its own category: hypercar. Each of these unique cars sold for well over $1 Million!

Pagani's unerring attention to detail can be seen in his vehicles' design and construction, where each piece is carefully considered when designing their cars - with particular consideration given to ergonomics and efficiency. Furthermore, these vehicles are extremely fast - the Zonda series being capable of reaching 7:27.82 lap times at the Nurburgring.

In 2011, the company introduced an all-new model to replace the Zonda: Huayra. Based on its predecessor's platform but using Mercedes' more powerful twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 engine, this car produces 700 horsepower (522 kW). Furthermore, torque output of 1,000 N*m (740 lb*ft) makes this one of the fastest production cars on sale today.

Pagani has managed to remain independent while building close working relationships with companies like Mercedes AMG. Their V12 engines were created by AMG, using a modified version of what can be found in Mercedes' SL65 AMG models - giving Pagani an advantage in optimizing power without exceeding emissions limits. Pagani's new Huayra has received praise from automotive publications worldwide and should prove popular with car buyers worldwide; production will begin this year on 40 units starting at $1.6 million each with both coupe and roadster models being offered each year by Pagani's manufacturing facility in Italy.
