Mobil Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

The Veneno roadster provides the authentic driving experience of a racing prototype in a car designed specifically for road use. Its carbon-fiber lightweight construction stands out both visually and on paper; boasting an exceptional power-to-weight ratio.

CNBC follows one of three owners of a Veneno, Antoine Dominic, as he accelerates it at full speed to see how it handles.

Power

Mobil Lamborghini Veneno is a supercar that perfectly blends extreme proportions with cutting-edge design inspired by aeronautics. Powered by an incredible 6.5-liter 12-cylinder engine that offers unparalleled thrills and power, coupled with ISR transmission, permanent all-wheel drive, and pushrod suspension systems - an impressive driving experience awaits those who take their seat behind its steering wheel!

The Veneno's exterior is composed of carbon fiber from its monocoque to the central tunnel and sills. Even its two lightweight bucket seats clad with Lamborghini's Forged Composite and Woven CarbonSkin helps reduce overall weight. This luxurious yet functional car provides drivers with both comfort and spatial awareness necessary to manage such incredible performance.

Lamborghini Veneno stands out as one of the most agile cars available, easily carve through corners and accelerate quickly from zero to 60 mph. Its high-revving engine and AWD drivetrain create a truly thrilling driving experience while its carbon-ceramic discs and eight-piston calipers guarantee an unrivaled stopping system.

The Veneno is the ideal car for anyone seeking the full Italian sports-car experience. With its powerful acceleration and responsive steering, it makes an excellent vehicle for racing challenging curves or taking on challenging roads - as its optimal aerodynamics let it perform like a racing prototype on everyday roads! Therefore it is an excellent car for drivers who love competing either locally in Sant'Agata Bolognese or on tracks!

Performance

Lamborghini Veneno boasts an amazing 6.5-liter V12 that produces up to 750 horsepower, and can accelerate from zero to sixty in only 2.8 seconds. Power is transmitted to the road via its seven-speed ISR transmission for seamless power delivery to its driver. Furthermore, this model features cutting-edge technologies and cutting-edge materials for an exceptional driving experience.

It was created to commemorate Aventador's 50th anniversary. With an extreme design that ensures an intense driving experience and handling comparable to a racing prototype - yet fully street legal! - its bodywork features carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP).

Contrary to most Lamborghinis models, the Veneno comes equipped with a four-wheel drive system featuring torque vectoring - this allows it to distribute power between its front and rear wheels in order to maximize traction on all surfaces, and independently move each wheel up or down for improved handling in adverse weather conditions.

The Veneno's exterior design has been optimized for optimal airflow and downforce, with large openings designed to promote engine bay ventilation while increasing downforce levels. Its front end works like an aerodynamic wing; front splitter and fixed rear wing creating significantly more downforce than that seen on an Aventador. Meanwhile, large openings allow ventilation of engine bay space while air flow towards its wing increases; additionally a rear diffuser features six wedge-shaped openings which increase its level of downforce - while its adjustable rear diffuser boosts this level further - while designed specifically to bring motorsport experience onboard.

Production of the Veneno was limited to three cars; that displayed at Geneva is chassis number 0, used for development and testing purposes before eventually ending up at Lamborghini factory museum in Sant'Agata.

Aerodynamics

The Veneno is the latest addition to Lamborghini's family of cars, unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and limited to just 250 units worldwide. Boasting 552kW/750hp maximum output and capable of acceleration from zero to 100 km / h in only 2.8 seconds and top speeds up to 355 km / h, its performance can take us beyond our wildest imagination.

This entire vehicle was created to maximize airflow and stability at high speeds, drawing inspiration from iconic Lamborghini models that have defined their history. The front end resembles an enormous aerodynamic wing and channels air towards outlets on the hood, windshield and front wheels; at the rear is a substantial diffuser framing four sizable exhaust pipes which add downforce peak. Large openings in its engine bay ventilation serve to ventilate it while managing airflow to its rear wing; brake and indicator lamps feature Y motifs while its engine cover features six wedge-shaped openings aimed at optimizing dissipation of heat from powertrain.

Carbon-fiber elements are the focal point of the Veneno's interior, particularly its two lightweight bucket seats crafted with Lamborghini's proprietary Forged Composite and Woven CarbonSkin material. Soaked in special resin that stabilizes its fiber structure while leaving it flexible enough for shaping purposes, it significantly lowers weight without sacrificing aesthetics; its effect can even be seen on scales; wherein its weight difference from Aventador stands out as mind-blowing power-to-weight ratio.

Design

Lamborghini claims their Veneno roadster boasts the fastest top speed ever: it can hit 221 mph and accelerate from zero to 62 in just 2.9 seconds! They claim it boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 1.93 kg/hp; its handling resembles that of Aventador LP700-4 while having its roofline extended and doors removed; both parts feature CFRP construction for increased energy efficiency while the interior features all carbon fiber detailing.

Lamborghini Veneno design draws heavily upon race car principles to optimize airflow and downforce, featuring an adjustable rear wing, with several openings on its underbody to funnel airflow; two openings direct air to engine bay while exhaust pipes are separated using a splitter while its rear diffuser features contours that maximize airflow.

Exterior elements have been meticulously designed to make the Veneno appear aggressive and menacing, from its sharp angled panels and sharp lines, to its menacing profile and intricate sculpting details. Lamborghini continues to push boundaries of automotive design through their commitment to designing these striking vehicles.

Inside this car is equally breathtaking. The cockpit resembles that of a fighter jet with red and green switches, hand-stitched Italian leather wraps, a flat screen display for navigation purposes and carbon fiber steering wheel made for maximum grip - all this plus an expansive center console display displaying system status updates!

The Lamborghini Veneno hypercar was produced exclusively to mark their 50th anniversary and features only nine roadsters and three coupes ever built - making it one of the world's most exclusive vehicles with stunning design, breath-taking performance and legendary status that will inspire future generations of automotive enthusiasts.

Technology

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster boasts stunning design and breathtaking performance, as well as state-of-the-art technology in automotive engineering. Its advanced aerodynamics help optimize downforce and stability, while its state-of-the-art infotainment system and driver assistance features provide for a safe, comfortable drive. In addition, its innovative braking system features carbon ceramic discs with eight piston calipers to deliver unparalleled stopping power.

The technology of the Lamborghini Veneno can be seen throughout its construction, featuring carbon fiber and other cutting-edge materials such as carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). Furthermore, CarbonSkin material covers much of its interior cladding including cockpit, two lightweight bucket seats, headliner and part of headliner; its precision fits allow it to reduce weight effectively while remaining comfortable to sit on.

Underneath lies a Lamborghini V-12 engine producing 740 horsepower, giving the Veneno Roadster incredible speed while remaining road legal. Based off of Aventador but further enhanced for more power and better handling.

The Roadster body was engineered for maximum downforce, featuring large vents at the front and a massive diffuser at the rear, helping increase cornering stability and high-speed stability while making its design more visually appealing.

Monster Audio provides the Veneno Roadster with a 750-Watt, 10-Speaker sound system to further enhance its driving experience, including an LED headlamp system that features 10 speakers. Though Monster is best known for their audio/video cables, they have also developed numerous high-performance car audio systems like this one which are controlled via both windshield header-mounted touch screen control panel and center console controller.
